The Problem

Recognizing that many individuals with autism may lack access to necessary resources due to financial constraints, my idea was to develop an app that leverages scenes from television shows and movies to teach social cues and emotional recognition. By using entertaining content, this app would offer a more engaging and accessible approach to learning these skills, making it both educational and enjoyable.

Through interactive scenarios featuring diverse characters, users can practice social skills in a fun and engaging way. Personalized feedback and progress tracking ensure a supportive learning experience tailored to individual needs. CueTip aims to empower individuals with ASD to navigate social interactions with confidence and ease.

User Flow

Prior to starting our wireframes, we made a quick user flow chart in order to prioritize which features would make it into our MVP. Because we only had a weekend to complete the project, we wanted to make sure we focused on the right features to ensure we were fitting the accessibility theme.

Mid Fidelity

Because we had a time constraint, we created frames straight from ideation to begin branding as soon as possible. Our mid fidelity frames gave us a good idea of what each feature would look like and how each animation would move.

Branding

Our simple branding only consisted of choosing a color theme and font. We wanted the app to have a simple and clean look to keep up with the accessibility.
